- It only boosts anomaly research speed - meaning that a more meticulous scientist would spend a lot of time with safety procedures because they're dealing with the unknown.
- What bothers me is that the trait doesn't reduce anomaly research success chance. Vercinger (talk) 21:21, 5 June 2016 (CEST)
- Well, Careful does not reduce anomaly research speed either. I guess the design philosophy is that a trait should be decidedly better than no trait, and given that anomaly research doesn't take overly much time, I would actively avoid using a scientist with a penalty to the success chance. Psionics catch 22?
On this page, it says that psionics expertise requires the research Psionic Theory. On the research page however, it says Psionic Theory can be researched by materialists, but only if their scientist is an expert in psionics. So, is psionics for materialists locked behind console commands, or an ethic changing event chain? Is one of the pages outdated? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 22.214.171.124 (talk) 03:39, 5 March 2018 (CET)
