How?[edit]

Yes, but how do you do it in game???? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.108.108.238 (Talk) 21:28, 18 August 2016‎ (CET)

You are right, we never did write that down. The button is on the Planet Detailview, called "Terraforming". Right under Colonize (that nobody ever uses too). --The Founder (talk) 22:29, 18 August 2016 (CEST)

Terraformed two planets at a cost of 1000k each, still couldn't colonize them...Iguess you need to terraform, then terraform. then terraform?--Spaceghost (talk) 03:27, 21 January 2017 (CET)

Move of "Alternatives to terraforming"[edit]

For completeness, we would have to duplicate that section for Genetic Engineering.

So instead I wrote a extra section on Celestial Bodies I called [strategies], linking to both Terraforming and Genetic Engineering. The idea was that both (and some other approaches like Robot pops) are all equally viable and we would have to duplicate all the alternatives that way. Not to mention the issues when the rules change (like they will again with 1.6 somewhat).

I would prefer it if those bonuses were too listed among habitability section of the wiki. Should I move it? --The Founder (talk) 19:10, 8 May 2017 (CEST)

If you feel that a certain section from one article also strongly applies to another article beyond a simple mention [summary] and a Main link then use transclusion. You can do so with either the entire sub-section or portions of it. I've set up a temporary example using an event if you with to check the syntax. ~ SolSys (talk) 21:53, 8 May 2017 (CEST)
