Star Trek New Horizons[edit source]

When you upload images it would be useful if you would prefix the name with something related to your mod. "STNH" is something I'd use. It just means that the images appear together in lists and makes it apparent what its related to. I've also created the Category:StarTrek NewHorizons category for you. If you could put all uploaded images and your subpages in there, that would be very helpful. The pages look good, you may want to think about using navboxes for moving between the different pages. thx, thats awesome. we will in future use the prefix.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Grinsel (Talk) 12:44, 20 August 2016 (CET)
I've gone through and renamed all existing files and categorised them. This helps us keep the mod content distinct from the game content. Dauth (talk) 15:01, 22 August 2016 (CEST)

There are a number of issues with the STNH pages which are listed here Special:CategoryChecker. If you have any questions let me know on here and I'll try to help fix them. Dauth (talk) 11:43, 18 September 2016 (CEST)

i get a Permission error if i click on Special:CategoryChecker. idnk whats shows me, please tell me. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Grinsel (talk) 23:47, 20 September 2016‎ (CEST)
OK, I've made and example change to one of your maps pages, the remaining maps pages need the same. Dauth (talk) 09:31, 21 September 2016 (CEST)
Nevermind, its all been taken care of. Dauth (talk) 14:44, 22 September 2016 (CEST)

I've been alerted to an issue with some of your mod images. There are some that don't have a category Special:UncategorizedFiles and several that are unused Special:UnusedFiles. In addition a number don't have a copyright status. We can't host images which may be in breach of copyright. If you can identify all Category:StarTrek_NewHorizons images and ensure you have the copyright notice on the files. There are 3 to choose from Category:Copyright_templates and if you have any questions feel free to let me know. Thanks in advance. Dauth (talk) 12:38, 30 December 2016 (CET)

i can add a license. But how is it supposed to look? What should it contain? if u have a template, thats good, so i can add this to each one.

i think its all no issue, if i know what i need to do. this time is first time using wiki. its all new.

Thanks for starting. The question the copyright needs to answer is about who owns it. Your images are of ships from Star Trek, which means you need to acknowledge them, either as fair use or by citing them as the source. Dauth (talk) 00:41, 31 December 2016 (CET)
i finished so far i know all copyright and cathegory infos. now we want to delete unused (old/outdated) files. but we dont know how. pls help
Only members of the moderating team can delete content. If you place the {{Delete}} template on any file you want removed then I can get round to it later this week. Dauth (talk) 14:58, 3 January 2017 (CET)

New identical pages[edit source]

From recent actions I take it that you folks want to move the whole project to be under its new name? If so, I'll advise AWB instead of creating new identical pages while leaving the old ones unnecessarily in-place. ~ SolSys (talk) 08:52, 22 August 2017 (CEST)

what means AWB?
yes we need a namechange from "Star Trek New Horizons" to "ST New Horizons" — Preceding unsigned comment added by Grinsel (talk) 14:28, 22 August 2017‎
AWB means AutoWikiBrowser. – Lillebror (talk) 19:15, 22 August 2017 (CEST)
Unfortunately I'm not proficient in the use of AWB, but you can use the link provided by Lillebror to learn the fundamentals fast enough. It will save you time by moving [renaming] articles and changing links/categories within the articles. More importantly, we won't have a bunch of duplicate pages lying around like these two -- ST NewHorizons / StarTrek NewHorizons. ~ SolSys (talk) 11:06, 23 August 2017 (CEST)
Afaik; it's only possible for administrators to move pages with AWB. By the way, what should be the exact name? ST NewHorizons, ST New Horizons, ST: NewHorizons, …? – Lillebror (talk) 15:49, 23 August 2017 (CEST)
